What is the Ringtone subscription and how does it work?

Ringtone™ is the place to make your mobile phone as unique as you are! We have an ever growing catalogue that you can choose from thousands of Ringtones, Wallpapers and daily text services – so you’ll always be able to find something you want – when you need it on your cell phone.

It’s really easy to use – each month you’ll receive a new set of credits billed to your cell phone so you can download the coolest and latest goods for your cell phone from Ringtone.com. This way you can use your credits for whatever you want on the site – whether it’s all ringtones this month or getting the latest in celebrity gossip next month – the credits are yours to use to get what you want. How many credits you use depend on what you download but we let you know how many credits you need for everything so keeping track is easy and we won’t let you go over your credits either. If you don’t use all of your credits by the end of your billing month don't worry they roll-over to the next month until your billing stops so you don't need to worry about losing out on credits! Every month for as long as you subscribe you will be renewed automatically and so will your credits. You can cancel your subscription at anytime by texting the word STOP to 36726.

How do I sign up?

You can sign up in two ways that are fast and easy.

Option 1 – You’ve received a text message on your phone with a pin code.
You can either reply directly to the message you received on your mobile handset with the confirmation keyword or by entering in the pin code on the phone directly online via our website.

Option 2 – Signup online
You can also join online by going here http://www.Ringtone.com/signup.html and entering in your required information. After filling out your information we than send you a text message to your handset with your unique PIN code to enter online. Just select the Validate Your Pin option located at the top of the page.

Your PIN code is unique to you and your handset so unless you receive it nobody else can sign up with your number.

How can you be sure I am the one signing up and not someone else?

Ringtone™ registration process upholds your security and ensures that you must have the cell phone handset with you in order to register. We do not accept or allow downloads without a confirmation being sent from the handset itself or by entering in the unique PIN code sent only to your phone.

Without your phone handset present there is no way to receive the PIN code.

Is there a minimum age in order to signup and authorize the charge to my phone bill?

Yes. If you are under the age of 13 you are NOT allowed to use the website even with permission of your parent/legal guardian.

If you are under the age of 18 you must obtain your parent’s or legal guardian’s explicit permission prior to using and/or signing up for the Service. If you do not have this permission you are not able to use the website.

This is indicated clearly in the Terms and Conditions that you must agree to upon signup. If you are not sure whether you have permission get your parent/legal guardian to create the account for you.

How do I block a minor or other unauthorized person from signing up an account?

Prevent your phone or a family member’s phone from being able to sign up for Ringtone™ services by blocking the number. Simply call us at 1-866-313-7157 and we will be able to do this for you.

How do I find the ringtone, game or wallpaper that I want?

To check out the awesome selection we offer simply go to http://www.Ringtone.com and select the corresponding tab to view a list of the selection. For example if you want the latest chart topping ringtones just go to the Tones Tab.

Can I preview a ringtone before I decide to download it?

YES! We want you to be sure that’s the ringtone you want so just click on the ‘Listen’ link in order to hear the song on your computer. There are no restrictions on how many songs you can listen to before you choose the right ringtone to match your style.

Will it work on my phone?

Most phones are able to accept the ringtones, wallpapers and games we offer. However you need to have an internet enabled mobile phone with data capabilities in order to use everything except the Text Fun club. If you’re not sure what your phone is able to support give your carrier a call for more help.

How do I download content to my phone?

We send your ringtones, games and wallpapers to your mobile phone through an SMS message that has a WAP push – a fancy way of saying a link to use. Once you receive the link depending on your phone type depends on how you retrieve it. After one or two times you’ll be a pro at it. If you need help you can always call us at 1-866-313-7157 7days a week  - 24 hours a day.

How do I sign into my account?

Once your account is activated to sign in simply follow these easy steps:
  1. Go to http://www.Ringtone.com
  2. Enter in your 10 digit mobile phone number
  3. Enter your unique PIN code
If you have lost your PIN code just select Forgot PIN and it will be sent to your mobile handset directly. For your security we are not able to release this information over the phone or through email. Please make sure you have your handset with you in order to retrieve this information.

I forgot/lost my PIN code?

If you have lost your password just click here and it will be sent to your email address.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Cancellation by handset - You can cancel your Ringtone™ Subscription Service by sending a text message from your mobile device containing only the word 'STOP' to the shortcode 36726. To prevent future charges cancellation must be received a maximum of one day prior to your billing cycle date.

Cancellation online – You can cancel your Ringtone™ Subscription Service by submitting a request to Ringtone™ at http://www.Ringtone.com/aboutus.html

Cancellation by e-mail - You can cancel your Ringtone™ Subscription Service by sending a request to cs@Ringtone.com.

Cancellation by phone - You can cancel your Ringtone™ Subscription Service by calling toll free 1-866-313-7157 - 7 days a week 24 hours a day.

Cancellation of Services will take effect on your next billing cycle date. All Credits remaining are able to be used until your end billing cycle date after which time any unused Credits will be forfeited. To prevent future charges cancellation must be received a maximum of one day prior to your billing cycle date. For example, if your Mobile Device is billed for a monthly Membership subscription on the 4th of every month and you cancel on the 10th, you will not be billed in the next month, but your monthly Membership subscription will remain active for the remainder of the month in which you cancelled.
